Our Patients - Arlene, Illinois

To Whom It May Concern:

This is my third time fighting multiple myeloma. I had a bone marrow transplant in June of 1999.

We had good insurance and my husband and I both work very hard. It took us several years to pay off all our medical bills, but we did not file for medical bankruptcy like so many people tried to talk us into. We took out a second mortgage on our house and we worked a couple of jobs.

Due to the economy our finances have decreased substantially. My husband is in sales for new garages. I still work full time.

We are grateful for the insurance that we do have, but did not have the $3500 co-pay. A nurse practitioner told me about the co-pay relief program.

I called and was treated with respect and confidence. I was taken care of immediately.

I can't begin to thank the supporters of the co-pay relief program enough.

With Sincere Thanks,

Mrs. Arlene C.
