I asked him to help me, lead me & guide me thru this. But if he decided to take me, I was willing. It has been a battle, but I try to keep a positive outlook on it.I don't like many pictures being made of me. I try to think I look like I used to look. My personal thoughts have been very scattered since February 7, 2005 when a Pulmonologist told my wife I had Stage 3 Non-Small lung cancer. This information was a telephone call taken by my wife. With tears and great sobs, she put her arms around me and told me the diagnosis. I told her to stop crying, it would be okay, while my whole world turned upside down.
... The bright spots in these 21 months have been my wife's constant caring and support and a most generous and grateful financial aid of $2,500.00 from your organization. It mattered so much that you helped me financially when it was so needed.
It's often said that the two words "Thank You" seem so insignificant for an act that was so appreciated, but, nothing takes the place of these two words, so, I'm saying to you "Thank You"."
