Chief of MIssion Delivery

Mrs. Singleton is the Chief of Mission Delivery for the Patient Advocate Foundation. Working directly with the CEO and the President of Mission Delivery, it is her duty to oversee all aspects of the Mission Delivery Division departments to ensure the achievement of the organization's philosophy, mission as well as its goals and objectives. She provides oversight to all Chiefs, Directors and Assistant Directors to ensure consistent compliance of case management programs and financial services with grant requirements, developing and implementing strategies to address any known or potential program deficits. In the capacity of Chief of Mission Delivery, Mrs. Singleton serves as direct liaison between the organization and PAF's external non-profit partners, donors and media.

Mrs. Singleton has over 15 years of experience with the PAF serving as Senior Case Manager, Quality Assurance Officer and Chief of External Communications working with catastrophically ill individuals to educate, empower and proactively assist them. As a Case Manager she became very familiar with access to care issues, employment retention, debt crisis and health insurance issues, as well as community, state and government resources throughout the United States.

Throughout her career in patient advocacy, Mrs. Singleton's expertise has been sought by national and local media outlets for articles addressing the myriad of practical issues confronting patients reflecting the value of case management. Articles have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Associated Press, New York Times, US News and World Report, USA Today, Washington Post, Kaiser Health News, Huffington Post, Bloomberg, The Boston Globe, LA Times, The Daily Press, The Virginian Pilot, Healthcare in Hampton Roads, Readers Digest, Prevention Magazine, Self Magazine, Money Magazine, Smart Money Magazine, Black Enterprise Magazine, Women's Health Magazine, Men' Health Magazine, SHAPE Magazine, Glamour Magazine, VIV Magazine, Business Week, US News Magazine, Coping Magazine, Women and Cancer, Women Magazine, North Caroline Medical Journal, Chicago Parent Magazine, Cancer Fighters Thrive Magazine, Journal of NCI, WebMD; televised segments, Dateline NBC Documentary , CNN and WTKR Channel 3; radio spots, Health Literacy Out Loud, African American Health Matters Radio Show and The Stupid Cancer Show.

Several of her professional accomplishments include: Coordination and initiation of the patient services training program, as a founding member of the publication committee she researched, collaborated and assisted with the production of The National Financial Resource Guide for Patients: A State-by-State Directory, development and creation of the internal and external online resource guide, The National Uninsured and Underinsured Resource Directory and, a website focused on healthcare reform. She also represents PAF at national forums and meetings as a member of the PAF speaker's bureau, development of the Quality Assurance Standards and Division for over 60 case managers, ensuring the high level of service and attention to detail has been met through data collection and case management. She currently serves as Senior Editor for the PAF Publications Committee and has co-authored several publications which have been produced and copyrighted by the Foundation, including the two most recent titles published: A Clear View to Medicare Making the Most of Your Benefits and Health Reform and You: A User's Guide to Health Insurance Marketplaces.
